Preview Document

Introduction

You can preview the pages that you edit in HotDog using any Web browser that is installed on your system.

To Preview a Document in a Web Browser

1. Select Preview Document from the File menu.

2. In the list of browsers that appears beside the Preview Document menu option, select the browser that you want to display the document in.

3. The browser will be activated and will display the document you are editing.

 

NOTE

On some Windows 98 and ME systems, the page currently being edited will be loaded into the browser, however the browser will not be brought to the "front" of the screen. On these systems it will be necessary to click on the flashing browser icon in the task bar to bring the browser to the front of the screen.

Previewing Using F9

1. Press F9 to preview your document in a Web browser.

2. You can set the browser that will be used when you press F9 by first selecting a browser from the Preview Document option on the File menu.
